MY SHERO
The life and legacy of this black woman impressed me so much so...that i wrote a song about her on my album entitled: Everybody's Talkin' back in 2001.Day Care Centers across America play this for their children and get great results. Elementary schools across the nation have played the song while the youth listened, learned and were deeply inspired! Many teachers, educators, schools, dance and drama troups use this song still, to this day, in rememberance of her. I am truly blessed and honored to remember you! Sometimes I get so very tired and then...i think about you...and I continue on!
